MGPS MANAGEMENT DOCUMENTATION SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT & OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT
A S Enterprises will work collaboratively with all relevant stakeholders to provide a tailor-made MGPS management system, development and implementation program for the hospital.
The stages which will be tailored to your hospital needs are as follows:
Find out what level of documentation is available for the management of MGPS at your location and identify the parts of the management system that are lacking.
Develop a comprehensive MGPS management system structure, update the pertinent documentation that already exists, and inform the appropriate managers and supervisors.
Create the extra documentation needed to finish the MGPS administration system.
Measure the impact of the implementation using Key Performance Indicators and provide the key stakeholders with assessment documentation and reports.
Executive management and boards are under increased scrutiny from a range of stakeholders, who are looking for assurance that internal controls are in place, to ensure adherence with laws and regulations, reducing the risks associated with non-compliance.
A regulatory compliance framework is being implemented by value-driven organisations to solve this. This include creating and implementing rules, processes, a training programme, and a compliance approach. These advantages include:
Reduce corporate oversight and guidance for compliance activities.
Improve efficiencies and effectiveness.
Increase employee awareness of regulatory compliance requirements and issues.
Minimise mitigation of reputational or financial risks.
The compliance function has a place in the first line of defence for its own operations, taking ownership, responsibility, and accountability for directly assessing, controlling, and mitigating risks. This is true even though the compliance function serves as the second line of defence within corporate governance.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
To support your capital and projects or contractor teams where you require specific MGPS project management for new sites, we can provide bespoke Project Management Consultancy Services for the following:
Review specified flow calculations.
To provide the supply system needs, multiply the anticipated demand by future consumption.
Review your pipeline system design to add the required compliant components, ring mains and future use requirements.
complete the isometric drawings, compute the pressure drops and new design processes.
Check and sign off final install proposal drawings and details.
POLICIES AND PROCEDURES & STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES (SOPS)
Every healthcare facility must have an operating policy that is effective for medical gas pipeline systems. Your operational policy will be created by us to satisfy your demands as well as the needs of your stakeholders. By creating a policy and procedure document that includes MGPS components, emergency procedures, etc. for you to review and sign off, we make it easier to put the policy into practise.
We will develop clear SOPs for medical gas related supply chain processes including forecasting, ordering, and distribution. SOPs for biomedical engineering personnel relating to equipment management and maintenance will also be developed. SOPs will be executed consistently throughout the supply chain, and managers will be assigned to monitor process quality and to optimize it as needed.
CYLINDER STORAGE AND OPTIMISATION
The majority of cylinders are leased from centralised gas providers that do not offer maintenance of the cylinders and other components. Supply concerns are introduced since regular refilling necessitates transportation, which might be impractical in terms of logistics, cost, and security. Furthermore, broken or improperly fitting regulators can cause cylinders to leak up to 50% of their contents. A delicate balance must be struck between daily consumption, emergency stock, cylinder safety, and rental prices in order to maintain the proper quantity of cylinders. Our cylinder optimization service examines each of these factors and makes suggestions for having the appropriate stock, properly kept in the appropriate location, and the proper procedure in place to be able to respond to emergencies. We'll examine the following components:
The level of cylinder usage
The storage areas
Ordering, administration and delivery
Cylinder type, quantity and use on wards
Cylinder safety, security and compliance of accommodation
Cylinder storage and segregation
Racking and supports
